Looking back on 2025, it’s clear the year brought both challenge and opportunity. Paul Crossman, CEO of Revolvex Group, shares his perspective on how 2025 reshaped the organisation, strengthened its commitment to circularity and responsibility, and set the direction for what comes next.
2025 moved fast. So did we. Here’s what that means for responsible tech
This year was far from business as usual at Revolvex – it was a complete reset of who we are and how we deliver to you.
In a market defined by sluggish demand and tariffs in 2025, we took the decision to sharpen our structure, strengthen our capabilities and simplify how partners work with us.
The result is Revolvex: a focused, resilient group of companies designed to help operators, retailers, brands and social-impact organisations navigate the next era of responsible tech with confidence.
15 countries, multiple accreditations, two rebrands, new national clients and a new parent company. We loved it – fast-moving years push us to be sharper and concentrate on the things that matter.

A new structure, a new identity
The most significant change of the year was our full restructure and rebrand, which will make it easier for customers to access the service they need.
Revolvex Group became our new parent company with a clear, strong identity that reflects our commitment to circularity, compliance and responsibility across the tech ecosystem. Under Revolvex sit our two trading brands:
Genuine Solutions
We’ve gone back to our roots with Genuine Solutions – focusing solely on distribution. It’s how we started 20 years ago – buying and selling mobile technology and accessories with fantastic customer service.
We’ve evolved with stronger partner support, reliable supply, transparent forecasting and robust compliance. We’re able to help businesses navigate the complex import and export market, as well as the domestic market.
Relove Technology
Relove Technology is now the face of our recovery, recycling and reuse business. We’re a circular-economy specialist working with operators, retailers, corporate clients and charities to give devices a longer, more meaningful life.
We also have a social conscience, with a drive to close the digital divide and boost prosperity.
Separating our two operations makes it easier for customers to find what they need and achieve their goals
- Network operators, supply-chain executives and international brands access faster decision-making, specialist teams and consistent standards across the group – giving you a trusted partner for distribution, recovery and entry into the UK and European markets.
- Sustainability and CSR leaders benefit from clearer processes, group-wide accreditations and independently verified standards that simplify compliance, reduce risk and make impact reporting more transparent.
- Retailers, charities and social-impact partners can rely on a focused distribution team and a dedicated recovery and reuse specialist – helping you meet customer demand, maximise community impact and contribute to closing the digital divide.
A year of global connection
We travelled to 15 countries in 2025 to strengthen partnerships and stay close to customer priorities.
Highlights included:
- Mobile World Congress, Barcelona
- International Trade Convention (ITC), Malta
- IFA, Berlin
- The Circular Summit in Paris, hosted by Mobile News
These conversations ensure we align our services with customer priorities on sustainability and cost efficiency and keep key international relationships fresh.
We’re now working with companies around the world, including North America and Europe, while back home we’ve secured new retail partnerships, including high-street brands Ryman and Robert Dyas.
Accreditations that prove our commitment
The push for sustainability can breed greenwashing, but we continue to back our words with evidence. We’re the most accredited company in our industry and these certifications reduce risk for our customers, ensuring high standards.
B Corp renewed and improved
We proudly increased our B Corp score by 29% to 115.4 – a significant leap from 89.3 in 2022.
We’re proud our partners can see independent proof of our commitment to people, planet and profit across the whole group.
EcoVadis accreditation
EcoVadis accreditation strengthens our global trading credentials and giving partners confidence that our sustainability and ethical standards meet international supply-chain benchmarks.
ISO accreditations
After a rigorous three-day audit, we achieved ISO accreditations in Quality Management, Environmental Management and Information Security, with zero non-conformities, showing customers can trust us, our processes and people.
Environment Agency permits and licences
Relove successfully renewed all compliance licences, reflecting our operational integrity and responsible waste management.
Championing community, circularity and digital inclusion
Alongside business growth, in 2025 we deepened our community impact.
Highlights included:
- Speaking at the Kingston Business Green Community Expo, where we are a founding member.
- Sharing our journey at a House of Commons event with Hubbub on the future of circular-economy businesses.
- Appearing on a Voice at the Table panel on inclusion and innovation.
- Partnering with the community through the Kingston Giving Dragon Boat Race.
- Hosting technology collection and reuse schemes to support digital-divide charities.
We also proudly welcomed visits from:
- DEFRA, following our leadership in circularity
- Rt Hon Ed Davey, who has supported our journey for over a decade and returned this year to mark our 20-year anniversary
We’ve donated more than £500,000 to good causes during our time in business. For our charity and social-impact partners, this work translates directly into more devices reclaimed, more communities supported, and more people gaining access to essential digital tools.
A culture built on people
Finally, one of the most-loved traditions in our business continued to thrive: Cultural Fridays, where colleagues share dishes from their culture. Sharing lunch together is simple, joyful and meaningful. And our strong culture builds strong service as our teams know they can rely on each other and ask for support.
What’s in store for 2026
2025 has set the foundation for a bold new era at Revolvex Group. A clearer structure, a stronger brand and deeper partnerships. And above all, a renewed commitment to the retailers, operators, tech brands and social-impact organisations who rely on us.
Thank you for being part of our story this year. Here’s to 2026 – a year we build better together.
